Hello! To start off, I have great news that Delta Air Lines banned transport of lions and other animals hunted for trophies globally! They were feeling a lot of pressure because of Cecil's death and 395,000 signatures on a Change.org petition which was started even before the tragedy. So these Change.org petitions really do work! Now to update you on the #JusticeForCecil petition. We're over 1 million supporters and definitely having an impact. Fish and Wildlife Service knows they need to respond but so far they're only saying they're investigating. That's great, but we need to keep up the momentum to get African lions listed under the Endangered Species Act protection and appropriate prosecution under the Lacey Act.
