We have been fighting now for 9 years to get the Chief Constable to take action against the carers.

It is amazing that these girls who caused such trouble and expense ( to at least 3 other families) are allowed to continue whilst other actions have followed:

The Doctor who gave capacity was charged with gross negligence by the GMC.

3 Police Officers were subject to Management Action (a talking to ) and CID which now incorporates the former Public Protection Unit receive Specialist Child /Adult interview training and use of intermediaries, but those involved have quietly retired or disappeared 

The Ombudsman described the investigation as "flawed from the outset" and the IPCC found failings within the Police Force.

The police settled but state that this does nor require any further criminal, lnvestigation, saying that any charging decision lies with CPS and in the absence of new evidence, will not happen .

Both admissions by Local Authority and Police are new evidence as they were not available until the conclusion of my daughter's case some 2 years later.

The Local Authority and Police did an in house safeguarding investigation instead of an Independent Investigation and to date most social workers have left but some remain in senior positions
