🐾K9 Officer Served Us and Then Euthanized in Silence?

Clayton County, Georgia — Retired police K9 Kona, once a working dog with Clayton County law enforcement, was reportedly sent to animal control after at least one "alleged" bite.  Not long after, K9 Kona was, according to animal advocates, tragically and inhumanely killed under distressing circumstances, and his service deserves justice, not a formal End of Watch.

K9 Kona was injected via intercardiac injection while in a kennel.

Earlier video showed staff giving him treats with Kona showing no aggression.

We animal advocates raised concerns about the lack of public notification, the method of euthanasia, and the fact that K9 Kona was essentially thrown out in the trash.

Clayton County Animal Advocates asked for information through public information requests and essentially received nothing in return.

There are so many questions but so few answers.

Will K9 Kona ever get justice or will he just be one more statistic out of Clayton County Animal Control?
