Sadly, it has happened again.
Yesterday, January 29, 2026, another dog named Milo was found severely injured in Purok Isla, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City. He was discovered with an improvised dart arrow embedded in his body.
According to a Facebook post by Barangay Administrator Jerrold Go, Milo had wandered into a sugarcane field and returned with the dart already lodged in him.
Milo is now under the care of BACH Project PH, the same rescue group that saved Tiktok. In a comment posted by the organization, they confirmed that Milo has undergone surgery and has been neutered. However, he still needs to be confined at a veterinary clinic due to a suspected blood parasite infection.
How many more dogs have to suffer in silence before this stops? Animals do not deserve to be used as targets. They feel pain. They bleed. They trust humans, often to their own harm.
