We call on Greg Willis, the District Attorney of Collin County, to seek the maximum sentence for Karmelo Anthony, who has been charged with the murder of Austin Metcalf. This community demands full accountability and justice for this senseless act of violence.

On April 2, 2025, Austin Metcalf was tragically murdered at Kuyendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas. The individual charged with this heinous act, Karmelo Anthony, now awaits prosecution. As members of the community, we are devastated by this loss and deeply concerned about the impact this crime has had on the victim’s loved ones and the safety of our neighborhoods.

We believe that acts of such extreme violence must be met with the full force of the law. Prosecuting this case to the maximum extent allowed under the law will not only honor the life of Austin Metcalf but also send a clear message that violent crimes will not be tolerated.

We, the undersigned, urge District Attorney Greg Willis to pursue the maximum possible sentence in this case. We stand in solidarity with the Metcalf family, and demand justice be served swiftly and fully.
