Alimony laws in India are outdated, biased, and often punish innocent men who are not at fault in divorce cases.

Today, capable and educated women can still demand lifelong maintenance even when:
- They initiated the divorce,
- The man was not guilty of cruelty or misconduct,
- Or when he is financially weaker than the spouse.

Meanwhile, men's voices are rarely heard, and false accusations can ruin lives.

We call upon the Hon'ble Law Commission of India, the Ministry of Law & Justice, and the Supreme Court to:

✅ Make alimony laws gender-neutral  
✅ Penalize false accusations and misuse of maintenance laws  
✅ Promote fair, fact-based financial assessments in every case  
✅ Protect the rights of **innocent, financially struggling husbands**

Support justice — not biased laws.  
Support equality — not reverse discrimination.
