Remembering Luna June 24 Drummond Park Fulford Salt Spring Island British Columbia 2:30 PM
We are coming together to honor Luna, a beautiful soul who brought light to all who knew her. This gathering is about remembering her fierce love, her spirit, and the way she lived so authentically. Luna’s memory will guide us as we unite in a simple, heartfelt celebration of community.
This event is a space for everyone, whether you knew Luna or simply want to share in the warmth of community. It’s about making sure no one feels isolated, especially those who may need a little extra push to come out and join us. Whether you’re here to reflect, to meet others, or simply to be, you are invited with open arms.
💫 Details:
• When: Tuesday, June 24th at 2:30 p.m.
• Where: Drummond Park
• What to bring:
• Yourself—come as you are
• Food and drinks for yourself, or to share
• Blankets or cushions for comfort
• Water and fluids to stay hydrated
• A sense of community and connection
There won’t be a lot of fanfare—just a bonfire, a microphone for anyone who wants to share, and the chance to be together in the most beautiful way possible. There won’t be any alcohol, just the peaceful energy of a community coming together to remember and support each other.
And as the afternoon unfolds, this celebration will naturally transition into a commemoration of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day—an event Luna would have loved. We’ll shift into this part of the gathering for anyone who wants to stay longer, share, or enjoy the evening as the celebration continues.
I also want to apologize for not having a DJ or a larger setup (yet) —I’ve been managing a few emergencies and advocacy work that’s taken up my time. I’ll make do with what we have. This event is about you bringing yourself, your energy, and your presence.
