Dear Supporters of Freedom and Justice,

My name is Mira Nassiri, a human rights activist, political activist, and investigative journalist residing in Canada.

For years, I have dedicated my life to shedding light on the injustices faced by the Iranian people under the oppressive rule of the Islamic regime. 

Following the uprisings in Iran against the Islamic regime in 2023, Instagram blocked both of my pages from online search engines, including Google. Despite appealing this censorship, my efforts were met with silence.

And, five days ago, my main Instagram Account, established in 2014 with a significant following of 22,300 supporters, was permanently deleted by Instagram without any opportunity for appeal or explanation. This account served as a platform for me to amplify the voices of the oppressed, expose corruption, and advocate for the rights of all individuals, especially those living under tyrannical regimes.

I have exhausted every possible avenue to appeal these decisions, reaching out to Meta's Oversight Board through various channels, but to no avail.

Despite my years of dedication to the cause of freedom and justice, my voice has been silenced, and my ability to communicate with my supporters has been unjustly taken away.

The Islamic regime silences the lives of innocent people, and now Instagram, a platform that prides itself on connecting people and fostering community, has chosen to silence our voices of freedom.

Please stand in solidarity with me and sign this petition urging Meta to reactivate my accounts and take meaningful action to protect the security of users like myself who are constantly targeted by fake reports and malicious attacks.
