On June 14, 2021 Katie had a normal day. She went to the bank, to the store, talked with family and friends. Katie was going to be staying at her dad's house while he went out of town. Katie's best friend Jessica Sandridge and her children was living the rooms in the basement of Katie's dad's house.

At around 9:30 pm Jessica Sandridge, Katie's boyfriend Joshua Bostic Davis and his friend Sebastian Fann was all with Katie at her dad's house. Joshua and Sebastian left around 9:45 pm. They came back around 10:30 pm. Joshua has told me Jessica was just leaving. I do not know for sure. But Joshua and Sebastian went into the house (Katie's dad's house).

They "found" Katie in the bedroom. Katie was having spasms/seizures, she was not coherent or responsive. Around 11:00 pm Sebastian went and got Jessica and Clayton Swafford. Clayton was Katie's roommate and cousin. They waited 2 1/2 before calling 911 to get her help. By the time EMT's got to Katie. She had a fever of 108 and was completely unresponsive. EMT's was 6 minutes from the house. When EMT's arrived, Katie was face down in the living room floor. 

The EMT's, ER staff and ICU staff did everything they could do to save Katie. On June 15, 2021 at 8:43.45 Katie passed away. It has been a year on June 15, 2022 and no legal action has been taken. 

We are still trying to get the word out on what happened to maybe get some light or action on the situation. There has been no progress made on the case yet it's still open.
