Judge Scott Johansen recently made a flagrant ruling to remove a foster child from the home of same sex parents April Hoagland and Beckie Peirce despite their passing of adoption standards with flying colors, after fostering the infant for three months and receiving not only the biological mother's approval, but the reccomendation of the foster care center they had been working with. The judge's ruling was based on "a myriad" of studies he was unable to produce that stated same-sex parenting was inferior to heterosexual parenting. This in light of the Mormon church's decision to label gay-raised children "apostates" unworthy of membership, it only makes sense a radical Mormon judge would reflect this in his ruling. Justice Johansen has thrown children in jail for bad report cards rather than accept the possibility of a learning disability. According to victimized parents, this "changed my child forever", turning him from a well-mannered boy to a victim of the school to prison pipeline. He has ordered a mother to cut her 13 year old daughter's ponytail off in court for cutting a three year old's hair. He has been reprimanded for physically slapping a 16 year old boy in-court. He is obviously a radical and abusive judge who can no longer be trusted to serve the interests of Utah residents and must be stopped.
