We want a full investigation in to Andrew Watt's death in France

Tomorrow will be day 19 sitting outside the Foriegn and Commonwealth Office. Last Thursday and today, I spoke with Sir Alan Duncan, minister for Foriegn and Commonwealth Affairs. It was clear that he and his consular staff were not aware of all the details about Andrew's case and although it was suggested that they go through the British Embassy in Paris to speak to the French about our case, we feel this is not enough. Why? 1. The British Embassy are NOT aware of the full facts and in the past have not listened to our concerns. They have also made some serious mistakes. 2. The French authorities have withheld important information from almost day 1 and didn't reply to any of my letters. 3. Sir Alan Duncan told me if the French say 'Non' to their request to look at the case again, then a line would have to be drawn under the whole affair. THIS IS SOMETHING WE CERTAINLY WOULDN'T DO UNTIL A FULL INVESTIGATION TAKES PLACE. We have also set up a Just Giving page under the name Andrew Watt to help us continue our fight. Every donation, no matter how small will most certainly help us. Thank you, Julie.
