Since I started this petition 12 months ago there have been some incredible events around the world.
Plenty of reasons why governments and corporation need to be held to account for their action, and / or, inaction.
Without fearless journalists, prepared to act in the interests of the people, we will have no way of staying informed about what our governments are up to behind our backs.

While George Floyd's murder and the deaths others continue to make headlines around the world, the plight of Julian Assange who exposed inconvenient truths about the US government, is largely unreported in mainstream media.

Julian Assange, the award winning journalist, Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Australian Citizen and father of two young boys has spent 10 years in arbitrary detention and imprisoned in the British dungeons.
Currently held in Belmarsh awaiting the outcome of a US appeal against the courts decision not to allow his extradition to face trial by the criminals he exposed.

Abandoned by his own government, who current Prime Minister, Scott "Scrotum" Morrison, has been quite busy trying to control the damage from recent revelations of rape and sexual assault by his team in the Australian Parliament.
Australia's Labour Party Leader, Anthony Albanese, has also failed to take a stand in defence of his fellow countryman, despite attempts by some to fool people into believing he has.

"Enough is Enough" and "I don't have sympathy for many of his actions but essentially I can't see what is served by keeping him incarcerated." are comments attributed to ALP misleader, Anthony Albanese.
Ambiguous statements at best.

Meanwhile, Julian Assange's health is deteriorating with a real risk of dying in a UK dungeon, for doing his job, for making sure we know the truth of the crimes lies and corruption from those in power.

Please, take the time to speak in defence of this brave Australian Citizen.

The US, UK and Australian governments don't want justice for Julian, they want him to be warning so other will fear to speak truth to power.

Be a thorn in the feet of those who want to walk over our rights, join a local support group, start conversations, try to get politicians to install spines in their backs and stand up to the bullies, the abusers, the rapists and the war criminals.

Stand up for Julian Assange.
