UPDATE - JUDGE RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL, RETURN TO THE BENCH IS UNCERTAIN

UPDATE:  Under immense pressure by state officials for his exposure of judicial discrimination in scheduling against Latino litigants, Judge Witcher collapsed on the bench during a recent court session in the Millville Municipal Court.  As court was set to begin, the Judge began to suffer a series of violent full-body seizures. Witnesses described the scene as "terrifying" and "Very Sad".  Emergency personnel rushed him directly from the courtroom to the nearest hospital.   With no prior seizure history, the seizures are believed to be stress-induced.  He has since been released from the hospital.  The Judge's date of return to the bench is uncertain.

* Last week the New Jersey Attorney General's office initiated an investigation into the allegations of discrimination and retaliation.
