The sentence for Lisa Vanderlinden is a Slap in the face to the victim and his family. 
In the Salt Lake Tribune article, it stated that the boy had “multiple bruises to his face” and “numerous bruises and abrasions to his scalp, head, face, arms, hands, abdomen, back, and legs, as well as significant internal injuries” caused by “blunt force trauma ... that resulted in his death” — injuries that were “consistent with child physical abuse.”’

This isn’t just “reckless behavior” for 40 year old woman. Call it what it is; murder. She, as an adult, has the responsibility to control her anger. A two year old is barely starting to learn how to regulate and work with their emotions. Lisa Vanderlinden is a murderer, plain and simple. 

Judge Samuel Chiara says he was “Perplexed in his decision making”, what is there to be perplexed about? This grown woman killed a child. A registered nurse who worked with kids no less. Perplexed is pathetic. 

Judge Samuel Chiara, you should be enraged. 

This petition is to implore you to modify her sentence to what she actually deserves; life in prison, or death. This little boy deserves justice, his family deserves justice, and we the people demand it.
