I rescued Summer from the side of the road and she’s been a pillar in my life ever since.  I lived a reclusive life due to my anxiety disorder, but my sweet dog changed all that. Summer gave me the confidence to rejoin the Kentucky community I loved, until she was ripped from my home.

I suffer from agoraphobia, which makes leaving the house very difficult. With her by my side out in public and at home, I felt normal again. I wanted to help animals in need so I used the strength she gave me to create a non-profit sanctuary for animals with limitations.

I had gone through the proper channels, but at the insistence of one of my neighbors, I was approached by half a dozen different county inspectors, one of whom decided to launch an investigation. I was heartbroken as I watched all of the animals being removed from my sanctuary. But the worst part was watching them haul off Summer. I have been fighting to get her back ever since.

Please join me in asking the LaRue County District Court to send Summer home. It has been over seven months since Summer has been at my side and I am suffering.
