Wrongfully convicted Michigan prisoner Robert Hinds has been incarcerated for over 22 years. As he continues to actively work toward proving his innocence, he is producing works to benefit fellow prisoners. With feedback, encouragement, and practical assistance from organizations that assist prisoners, he has written and published several books. A Life for a Life Urban Initiative and The Readers’ Circle University of Southern California Dornsife Prison Education Project are among the organizations that have allowed him to achieve his accomplishments. While his subject matter varies widely, each project has a specific purpose to impact a life. Today Robert talks about his prison experiences thus far with Louise Sipes Reichert, author of “The Prisoner’s Prayer Book”, and about the new book and prison program, “Etiquette & Professional Development Guide: Preparing for Reentry and Success.”
