Get longer custodial sentences for Joshua Morgan's attackers

Get longer custodial sentences for Joshua Morgan's attackers
The Issue
The aim of this petition is to see longer custodial sentences imposed on both James Robb and Alistair Douglas who were both found guilty of assaulting Joshua Morgan in Cannock in March 2014. Josh has been left with life changing injuries which will permanently affect his every day life. The sentences imposed should reflect the impact that this attack has had on both Josh and his family. Due to "time already served" which has actually consisted of them being electronically tagged as an equivalent to a custodial sentence, they have been able to live a relatively normal life and furthermore could be released from their "sentence" in as little as 9 months in Robb's case whilst Douglas could be free in a mere 2 months. This is simply not acceptable and the court need to reconsider. If you do the crime you should do the time and in this case that has NOT happened. We want sentences which take away what they took from Josh..... His freedom to live as he wanted to.
