Article about The Liv Act

Hello and thank you for your continued support in our mission for Justice for Jenny and Baby Evan.

I posted recently about 'The Liv Act', which is a law that would make assault of a pregnant woman a class D felony. It was presented by State Republican senators as an amendment to RHA [The Reproductive Health Act], since RHA eliminates Fetal Homicide from the penal code. As you know, the enactment of RHA directly affected our case from the very beginning, because it forced Queens prosecutors to drop the 'fetal homicide charges.  Well, now, after reading more about the Liv Act, that the Bronx DA had to do the same thing in this case, hence the push for The Liv Act.  In my last post, I mentioned that I contacted the State Senate to find out what ever happened with The Liv Act, because I can't find any information on the government website.  Well, I still haven't received any reply, but I found this article on The NY Post article [attached] where it states that "the Democratic majority voted it down". So, both in Jenny's case and in this case, the murderer is literally getting away with murder. 

Again, this is not justice being served.  It's a travesty of justice, because not only does this give license to commit such brutal acts of violence, it condones it.  That's just plain wrong on so many levels.  

And, by the way, this case, that you'll read about here, is also being held up in the court system, adjournments after adjournments.  Why?
