Sharing an article about 'Roe vs. Wade'

We've come upon another court date.  What will come of it?  I don't know.  None of us do.  I can say that I am emotionally scarred, exhausted and actually traumatized from the process.  I never really knew or understood the criminal justice system as much as I do today.  It frustrates and saddens me on a profound level to be so aware.

I am compelled to share this article with you because it's about Roe vs. Wade and directly affects our case.  And I wanted to share my confusion about the court system.  One big thing I don't understand is why so much effort goes into taking away a woman's right to choose, yet it's ok for a man to choose for a woman over her own body.  Case in point, today, The Supreme Court will "decide whether states can ban abortions before a fetus can survive outside the womb", which will consider "Mississippi’s bid to enforce a 15-week ban on abortion".  Doctors violating this ban would face suspension or revocation of their medical license.  You can read more about that in the link I provided to a lay press article.

I'm not going to weigh in on the Roe vs. Wade controversy here, because I have strong opinions about that, and it would take awhile to discuss that.  But my question is this: If The Supreme Court can weigh in women's abortion rights, then why can't they weigh in on the constitutionality of RHA? How is it that medical professionals are penalized for conducting legal abortions after a certain period, while RHA quite literally legalizes fetal homicide for a medical professional or ANYONE.  RHA allows anyone to kill a fetus without penalty. If anyone can dispute that here, please comment here. Because as I am reading the law, fetal homicide is allowed.  And that's why my daughter's murderer will not pay the price for the murder of baby Evan.  

Of course the objective of this petition is to STOP THE ADJOURNMENTS and proceed with the case.  But please just understand my utter frustration about this. Not only does the murderer get away with fetal homicide, he also gets to stall the system to pay for the murder of my daughter as well.  That is a double travesty.  

So, what's going to happen tomorrow?  Another adjournment?  Are we going to keep doing this until 2022, like the date shows in the NYC Inmate lookup system.  Is that date December 22, 2022 a real date?  I'm starting to think it is.
