The City of Manchester NH has long been handling their homeless issues by destroying the tent camps that the residents set up.  While some camps are problematic, many are quiet, chronically homeless and mainly keep to themselves.  We would like to see City officials willing to sit down in a meeting with representatives from the homeless population and the volunteers that work throughout the city.  Volunteers are effected by these camp destructions also, because they now have to search for the new camps, which are often buried deeper in the woods, often only accessible by dangerous paths and far from the reach of first responders in case of emergency.  We are just asking the city to consider an open forum style meeting, as the safety, welfare and dignity of these humans is our main priority.
