No Horse Meat Served in PA Restaurants: It is against the law.

The Issue

Pittsburgh's renowned restaurant, Cure, served horse tartar (raw horse meat) on May 8, 2017.  This was a violation of federal law and instigated a federal investigation (http://www.thehorse.com/authors/399/pat-raia).  The restaurant has since made public statements that they will not serve horse again. However, please make sure that our chefs and restaurant owners are educated on this so that no more restaurants in PA serve illegal meat. Please issue a public statement that to import and/or sell horse meat in PA is violation of State law.
