What does local Labor MP Meryl Swanson have to say?

Not much. Ms Swanson is promoting #petsofpaterson and cute dogs.

Meryl Swanson's party used to have a policy to re-regulate banks and force them to keep branches open but they haven't said anything about that for a very long time....

The last Labor leader to have a policy about keeping branches open was .... Mark Latham in 2004!

Since 2004 the ALP has said as little as possible about this big issue for our local towns and suburbs.

Now a bank can close TWO branches in a town and the local MP promotes cute dogs. What has happened to the party of ordinary working people?

Have they forgotten how to stand up for their own communities?

CashWelcome is lobbying and pressuring our elected representatives to take our rights seriously. We have a right to access and use our legal tender - physical cash. We don't want to be herded into a cashless society against our will. We have a right to choose how we pay, how we budget and how we manage our money.
