Abington Township is a “no place for hate” community. Unfortunately the Trump merchandise store that is slotted to open at the Willow Grove Mall does not live up to those standards. As residents of Abington and surrounding neighborhoods as well as mall customers from other areas, we implore upon you to reconsider your upcoming partnership with this store. 

Unfortunately this particular merchandise has a strong stigma attached to it and it will create divisiveness in our community that has the potential  to hurt all the businesses in the mall. There will be boycotts, picketing, and partisan reporting that will only add fuel to the fire. We have watched your mall struggle, stores and restaurants come and go. Please don’t give the community another reason to shop elsewhere. Keep politics out of our mall.
