José Fernández was one of the best pitchers for the 4 seasons he played. He won Rookie of the Year in 2013 and finished 3rd in the National League Cy Young voting that season. On September 25th, 2016, José passed away in a boating accident near Miami. He will be dearly missed by the Baseball Family, The Miami Marlins Organization and many more. I want to help honor him by getting the MLB and Rob Manfred to have a "José Fernández Award" which would go to the best rookie pitcher each year.  Getting this award become reality will help generations to come remember what a great player he was and how much he loved the game.
