Nerja Needs A Refuge For Abandoned and Abused Animals NOW

Nerja Malaga Spain  desperately needs another refuge  to take care of the hundreds of dogs abandoned in the streets  here ....

APA Nerja is an association that at present is doing our best to control the ever increasing numbers of new dogs on the streets ...and find them new homes ..

We are finding tiny puppies everywhere... some are dumped in the river or in the garbage cans ... or thrown off the top of bridges ... as well as the usual strays that are dumped on the beach and generally in a terrible condition 

Our refuge was closed down  over a year ago and since then we continue our work putting dogs in a private residence and paying per day per dog .. this cannot go on Indefinitely 

We are asking for a piece of land in this area and help from the Ayunamiento to build a new safe refuge where the dogs ( and cats) can stay  until we can rehome them 

Please help us by signing the petition which will be presented to our local council in hope of action ... 

This is an urgent situation .. we cannot allow dogs to be taken to the Perrera where they are killed when we can find them homes abroad
