I love reading the comments in #ARTXAI's petition. There's a lot of talk about #IP, but many concerned about infringement on artists' expression. For me, it's a lot about bias, how #generativeAI automates and augments societal bias, #discrimination, socioeconomic inequality.

I shared on my social media today (Twitter @vavacolor and LinkedIn) what this petition has to do w Reconciliation by highlighting the importance of respecting Cultural Intellectual Property and Indigenous heritage in generative AI. I was asked so I explained. 

When you share, encourage your network to makes comments. It’s a great way to express your motivation to sign, tell us what the priorities should be. I will be sharing that feedback with you when this petition ends.

Pour le moment, on parle beaucoup propriété intellectuelle, et du respect de l’expression humaine par les arts. Pour moi personnellement, ce sont les biais, la discrimination et les inégalités sociales que l’IA generative risque d’augmenter qui m’inquiète. 

J’ai aussi partagé sur mes réseaux sociaux aujourd’hui l’importance des implications pour la propriété intellectuelle culturelle (patrimoine  autochtone) et que via #ArtXAIConversation, et les actions qui en découleront, nous voulons contribuer aux objectifs de Réconciliation avec les communautés autochtones.
