Petition updateWorld leaders: Please act to save our lives in AleppoDon't let Idlib become the next Aleppo

Dear friends, Last year you watched as Assad's regime, Russia and their allies destroyed Eastern Aleppo, forcing myself, my family, and my friends and neighbours to flee the city we'd once called home. So many of those friends and neighbours were evacuated to Idlib, Aleppo’s neighbouring province, where millions of Syrians have sought shelter over the course of the near seven-year-long conflict. But now, Idlib is facing an even more catastrophic fate than Aleppo, and my friends' and neighbours' lives are in danger once again. Over the past few months, the regime and its allies have strengthened their offensive against Idlib, bombing hospitals and forcing 100,000 people to flee to the Turkish border. When Aleppo fell, we had somewhere to go. But Idlib is the last hope and sanctuary for so many Syrians who don't wish to leave their country. If Idlib falls, there's nowhere left for them to go. Idlib can't be left to suffer the same fate as my home. Will you join my call on Prime Minister May and President Trump to convene an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to deploy UN monitors in Idlib and keep my friends and neighbours safe? If you're in the UK, click here to tweet Prime Minister May: http://bit.ly/with_Idlib If you're in the US, click here to tweet President Trump: http://bit.ly/with_idlib I've seen your messages make all the difference before. I know they can do it again. Thank you, Dr. Hamza
