I tried to show you the horror as best I could – but the tragedy of Aleppo is impossible to understand until you see it in the context of your own home. As I write to you now, many other cities in Syria are besieged and face the falling bombs I know so well. I'm hopeful this website and this new perspective on the crisis will inspire them to act, but I know they will be all the more likely to do so if they know you've seen the website too.
