Though, with well over 2000 signatures right now, participation has exceeded our initial expectations, we still have a way to go to reach our new target of 3000 signatures. Can you help us get there?
Thanks to your efforts already we have gained a huge amount of momentum which has led to significant social awareness. Tomorrow several former players will provide media duties across TV and radio to spread our mission further, and reach a wider audience outside of our rugby bubble.
There has been no response from the Welsh Rugby Union as yet, and in all honesty we are not expecting one. We anticipate a ‘head in the sand, wait till it dies down, then business as usual’ approach. In response to that we intend to further increase the disparity and apathy with which the WRU treat female rugby players.
