Last year the UHSAA (Utah High School Activities Association) sanctioned lacrosse as the 11th sport for the entire state. But that isn't enough. Now each school needs to vote on whether or not it will allow their school to participate when it becomes official in the 2019-20 season. If not, players, coaches, fans, and programs of high school age will no longer have any place to play lacrosse. Now that it is sanctioned, all high school players will either have to play for the school...or not play at all.
