We, the undersigned, are asking that the members of the Bon Secours Mercy Health board of directors delay the closing of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Medical professionals and the public are aware that medical facilities and supplies could quickly become dangerously limited as this situation escalates. The decision to keep OLBH open in the short term could potentially save countless lives and, would most definitely, ease the concerns and fears that the residents of the Ashland area are facing. OLBH has been a trusted medical facility for many years and is needed, especially, during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. 

We are also appealing to our elected officials including Gov. Andy Beshear, Sen. Robin Webb, Rep. Danny Bentley, Rep. Terri Branham Clark, Rep. Kathy Hinkle, Sen. Mitch McConnell, Sen. Rand Paul and Rep. Thomas Massie to help ensure that OLBH doesn't close during this time of national emergency.
