Invite ONE OK ROCK as guests on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

The Issue

ONE OK ROCK is a four-piece Japanese rock band consisting of members Taka (vocals), Toru (guitar), Ryota (bass), and Tomoya (drums). Formed in 2005 in Tokyo, they have worked their way up to become one of Japan's biggest acts, and certainly one of the most well-known Japanese bands worldwide, collaborating with artists such as Avril Lavigne, 5 Seconds of Summer, Against the Current, Kiiara, and more. They will be touring with Ed Sheeran on the Asian leg of his Divide Tour this April.

The band's goal is to make it big in the West, particularly in the United States. ONE OK ROCK was scheduled to tour with Linkin Park on LP's One More Light Tour in 2017 in both the U.S. and Japan, but unfortunately this did not come to pass due to the untimely death of Chester Bennington. That tour could have potentially given the band the exposure they needed to break into the American music scene. Undeterred by this regrettable event, however, the band continues to strive towards their goal, releasing their latest album Eye of the Storm worldwide on February 15, 2019 via Fueled by Ramen.

With Asian groups, particularly those from Korea, becoming more and more popular in the U.S., the time is ripe for Americans to get a taste of the incredible music coming out of Japan and ONE OK ROCK is the perfect pioneer.
