Last Friday, I personally took legal action, got an emergency temporary restraining order from Fulton County Superior Court Judge Whitaker, and got a stop work order issued by the City of Atlanta posted back on the building.

Thankfully, there wasn’t too much additional demolition that took place between the lifting of the first stop work order and the placing of the second one. The building should still have enough integrity to remain National Register-eligible.

An evidentiary hearing on the Verified Complaint for Emergency Temporary Restraining Order, Interlocutory Injunction, and Permanent Injunction and Declaratory Relief is scheduled on Friday, November 1st at 10:30am at the Fulton County Courthouse.
