We regret to inform the world – petition signers from all 50 states and 85 other countries – that the stop work order preventing further demolition of the building has been removed. The court case has been settled and claims dismissed. This landmark building of national significance will soon be completely demolished for a Margaritaville timeshare tower’s trash compactors and grease traps.

Thanks to everyone who has supported this worthy cause these past 2+ years! It’s been a pleasure sharing Atlanta’s incomparable and irreplaceable music history with you. It’s unfortunate that the powers-that-be have not been interested in finding a creative solution to preserve this building while allowing new development around it.

There is still a sliver of hope that Keisha Lance Bottoms or Jimmy Buffett will intervene...
