Fair is fair. And this is not it. My son was asked to take his stud earrings out today due to a district wide rule that boys are not able to wear earrings of any kind. Had this been my daughter, we would have no issue, explain that one to me.
We like rules that make sense, and keep us safe, and this rule does nothing positive for anyone, so let’s get rid of it already.
It’s 2021, sign the petition so we can leave these ideals and judgements in the past and show our children a better way to be an individual and accept each other’s differences and celebrate them, like we always should have.
