Absolutely incredible! We're beyond grateful for the likes, reasons for signing, and shares! The shares really go a long way and are extremely helpful and impactful! So this will be an interesting update..

3 days ago June 4th, 2020, even through everything going on in the world #blacklivesmatter, the Atlanta Journal Constitution writes another article about skateboarding in Alpharetta with absolutely no mentioning of the solution to help build a city skatepark!

Link to the article: https://www.ajc.com/news/local/alpharetta-skateboarders-say-downtown-the-perfect-makeshift-skate-park/oOFRFrbc4WF92ctMpMEofL/

In fact, the city has already met last Monday to start a law banning skateboarding downtown.. From the above article:

"The city has drafted a law banning skaters on downtown sidewalks, alleys, parking garages, stairs and railings after residents’ complained about the noisy activity. But skateboarders say sidewalks are safer than streets. That would be their only option if they were to continue to skateboard downtown. City Council gave the proposed law a first reading during a meeting Monday."

We're confused on why there is no mentioning of the obvious solution here in these AJC articles, which is a public city skatepark at Wills Park..

The support here has been amazing but our voices are still not being fully heard. Let's keep the momentum going getting this solution to more and more people! The public city skatepark is best for both the residents and the skaters, we know this.

As stated in a previous update with 500 signatures, the letter is beginning to get drafted. 1500 signatures and the letter gets sent.

God Bless!
