The Metro newspaper published this article about Jess and our campaign for Jess’s Law yesterday.

I am so grateful for their support.
The outpouring of love for Jess, the sharing of stories and support for our campaign has, once again, been overwhelming.
Perhaps if the government (whatever government that will be, after July the 4th) read the stories, and witnessed the pain, the procrastination would stop.
I know so many of you will read this first-person piece and you will share it, campaigning for much wanted change. Thank you so much. I feel humbled by your altruism.
It hurts, a lot, writing about Jess’ experience, but I hope you are left with knowing a little bit more about the resilience, determination, and beauty of my precious girl. Her illness and her tragic loss should not define her. She was so much more than that. I do hope, however, that she is remembered, in the future, for bringing about a positive change in attitude within Primary Care and helping to achieve earlier diagnosis.
