Thanks and very best as ever, Hilary URGENT MESSAGE FROM COMMON GROUND: It's a huge week in the Brexit debate as the EU Withdrawal Bill returns to the House of Commons tomorrow. The most significant amendment being debated is amendment 19, which would give MPs a meaningful vote on the final Brexit deal. This would ensure that Parliament gets a meaningful vote at the end of the talks, instead of being bounced into rubber-stamping whatever deal the prime minister manages to clinch or crashing out with no deal at all. It is vital MPs now set things up so they have real options. Given that Brexit won’t fulfil the dreams Boris Johnson et al peddled two years ago, the most democratic option will be to ask the people whether they still want Brexit. Please consider writing to your MP to let them know how you feel about this critical amendment.
