My vote for Labour is NOT a vote for Brexit

My vote for Labour is NOT a vote for Brexit
The Issue
Dear Jeremy,
I voted Labour on June 8th 2017.
However I believe very strongly that the U.K. should remain in the European Union. The marginal result of a flawed referendum should not be taken as 'the will of the people', particularly as it becomes increasingly clear that the promises made to those who voted 'Leave' cannot be kept. In my view Brexit will not only be extremely damaging, it will also be very costly both in money and in government time which could be much better spent addressing other matters.
I ask you to please respect my view and to never assume or claim that every vote for Labour in the 2017 General Election was in support of Brexit - mine was not and I believe many other Labour voters feel the same.
Yours sincerely
