Munroe Bergdorf has been appointed as an Equalities Adviser to the Labour Party.

We believe this is inappropriate given that she has previously said that all white people are racist and that suffragettes were "white supremacists". 

Recent comments unearthed by The Times demonstrate that Bergdorf's position is untenable.

We urge Jeremy Corbyn and Shadow Equalities Secretary Dawn Butler to distance themselves from her remarks and to remove her from her role as an Equalities Adviser to the Labour Party.
