Jellybean Update
After consultation with my legal counsel, I have been advised that although I was served with a summons for court next month, I have not in fact been formally charged, and no matter has yet been filed with the court.
I have contacted the supervising officer to seek clarification on this situation and have formally requested the seizure documentation, which was not provided at the time, as well as confirmation of Jellybean’s current legal status and whether he is to be returned.
Upon receipt of this information, and once it is clear whether charges are proceeding. 

I now am going to be applying to the Disputes Tribunal ASAP to regain custody, to do this I need $61 and I also need $549 to see a lawyer to discuss this and the best way to make sure Jellybean is returned to us.
