Re: Support for Chanel May Rulton – Theft Charge Regarding Cat “Jellybean”

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to provide my support for Ms. Chanel May Rulton in relation to the charge of theft regarding the cat known as Jellybean.

It is my understanding that Jellybean was willingly handed into Chanel’s care because his previous owners could no longer provide the necessary veterinary treatment and were even considering euthanasia. Chanel stepped in to safeguard Jellybean’s wellbeing, ensuring he received proper care and the chance at a healthy life.

Chanel also provided the former owners with multiple opportunities to sign an adoption contract, which would have formally transferred Jellybean into her care and safeguarded him from future issues. Unfortunately, these offers were declined.

At no point did Chanel intend to wrongfully keep Jellybean. Her actions demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and a commitment to Jellybean’s best interests.

For these reasons, I respectfully support Chanel being found not guilty of the theft charge, and I strongly believe that Jellybean should be returned to her care, where he has been safe, loved, and well looked after.
