The Issue
- Dr. Jeronda Majors, principal of Knight Middle School in Jefferson County, Kentucky, along with 86 others, were wrongfully arrested for peacefully protesting the murder of Breonna Taylor. Dr. Majors was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and intimidating a participant in a legal process. Inasmuch as Dr. Majors was wrongfully arrested on false charges and inasmuch as Dr. Majors has been an active role model in the Jefferson School District for 20 years and needs to remain in the Jefferson County School system as a principal of Knight Middle School; the charges against her should be dropped and her career remain in tact.
