Regional landfill will most likely exceed the elevation of the tallest mountain in that county. Landfill expansion will bring waste cells within 600 feet of the Etowah River. A methane plant was just zoned to be placed approximately 500 feet from houses. Land in the area has been for sale almost 20 years with no sale. Homeowners are trapped in conditions no one would choose to live in, with no way out. No local government support to the quality of life. Local noise ordinance is not even enforced. Imagine the roar of large trucks from midnight on to the next day. Thank you to everyone that supports change to better the lives of the people that have no other choice to live in deplorable situations while big business profits.
