By signing this petition, BMW Motorrad customers want to express their wish to benefit from two innovative advantages :
- To obtain, at any time (through internet) based on the serial number of the motorcycle, the list of technical recalls and technical actions applicable and, for each one taken, the date of execution and the name of the reseller who has completed it.
- To obtain from dealers, on presentation of the motorcycle proof of ownership, the history paper print of the revisions and repairs that have been performed since date of first registration.
These two innovations will provide unparalleled quality of service to your customers as well as a certain advantage in terms of trust and transparency in the monitoring of their motorcycle, which will also be a great advantage when it is resold. This will be an opportunity for BMW Motorrad to raise the bar of confidence and the opportunity to stand out even more from the competition. No doubt these two innovations will have a strong impact in terms of image in the world of motorcycles.
We also wish to benefit from the same recalls policy as the cars of the brand, as for example the series 1 because of electric engine front seats adjustment switch that may fault : we are waiting for recalls for the components too often defective (handlebar switchs, ABS module, water pump, fuel gauge, etc ...).
