"For the past two years, the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, Tacoma activists, and a host of amazing allies have worked together to save the water. This is their story...." Native Daily Network (NDN), October 11, 2018

It is your story too as you stand with us to stop PSE's dangerous fracked gas LNG project.

PSE is in violation of the Medicine Creek Treaty of 1854 and must engage in proper consultation with the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, the Original People of this land and of the Tacoma Tide Flats. PSE has been constructing their project even though they do not have an essential operating permit from the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA). Public outcry from Indigenous leaders, tribes, environmental groups, and allies on the lack of consultation and environmental review on the project has had an effect. Last December, PSCAA required PSE to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement to address the project's impacts on cumulative greenhouse gases.

On October 8th, a draft version of this SEIS was released for public review and commenting, before PSCAA releases their final environmental impact statement and makes a determination on the permit. PSCAA has set a hearing that is fast approaching on October 30th.

Our actions these next few weeks are critical to stop PSE's fracked gas project from receiving their PSCAA operational permit. PSE built without permits and we are determined it will never be operational.

Please attend the Public Hearing on October 30th! This is critical for showing our strength and solidarity and shutting this dangerous project down. Please join & follow the Sierra Club link to the Public Hearing: https://www.facebook.com/events/350748938829173/

Watch for our Petition Updates on how you can also send your comments directly to PSCAA electronically, even if you can't attend the Hearing.

United we can stop this dangerous project and protect our water and air! All our voices count! YEHOW!
