⚠️CLIMATE AND EXISTENTIAL URGENCY⚠️

The Government of Japan has announced that it will dump the polluted water stored at the Fukushima nuclear power plant into the sea. There are 1.25 million tons of water used to cool damaged nuclear reactors and contaminated with tritium, which will now end up in the Pacific Ocean, thus killing thousands, or millions, of animals, and causing the disappearance of some species from the Pacific.

This will happen in 2023, there are only 2 years left for this disaster.

A scientific article from 2014 cited by Reuters noted that the ingestion of large amounts could cause a risk of cancer.

We will all be affected, some countries more than others, but the substances are radioactive and toxic.
