Our country has not experienced any truly innovative advancement in thyroid care for decades, while the disease has advanced dramatically. Thyroid cancer has increased 144% in the last 10 years. Thyroid disease has increased exponentially over the same time period. Women being affected three times more than men.

This non surgical, non invasive, tried and true procedure developed by two Korean doctors ( Dr. Jung Hwan Baek and Dr. Kim of the Asan Medical Center) has proven highly effective in treating thyroid nodules and killing thyroid cancer, while leaving the thyroid intact to heal and discard dead cells, which in turn can balance hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.

RFA is a procedure comparable to a fine needle biopsy, with the exception of the tip of the needle. The needle tip delivers exact radio frequency friction to kill the interior of the cancerous or non cancerous hard nodules. Ethanol injection for the treatment of soft nodules. RFA treatment is delivered utilizing ultrasound guidance for precision by professionally trained doctors. As per reports and testimonials, the treatment can be completed within 20-60 minutes without intubation or major sedatives used in our current care directives.

These RFA/PEI procedures leaves our thyroids intact while killing the cancer. Nodules and symptoms deminish along with the mass ( within months of the treatment.)

Currently, the only option we are offered for thyroid cancer or hyperthyroidism is to kill our entire thyroid with radiation pills or surgically remove half or whole thyroids, ( thyroidectomy.) These procedures leaving the patients with a lifetime of health consequences, while constantly monitoring and balancing medication.
