Petition update
It's World Food Day!
Oct 16, 2015 — Hi guys, Jamie here,
First of all, happy World Food Day everyone! World Food Day was set up to mark the creation of the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), which has done great things in granting people regular access to good, fresh, healthy food. It’s also exactly five months since my global day of action, Food Revolution Day, campaigning for food education for every child. My Food Revolution Day petition to get practical food education on every school curriculum has had an overwhelming response – 1.6 million of you signed up, with supporters from every country in the world. It’s truly incredible.
Now, we’ve got just one month to go until the G20 summit in Turkey and we urgently need your help to ensure childhood obesity is firmly on the agenda. Please take a moment to spread the petition even further – please share it across all of your social media channels, send it to your friends and help us reach our new goal of two million signatures.

We need to keep the pressure on our world leaders and make sure they act on the escalating childhood obesity crisis. Let’s use World Food Day to come together in support of food education for every child – only by learning about food, where it comes from, how to cook it and how it affects their bodies, can our children grow up to make better decisions and, ultimately, lead happier, healthier lives.
Let’s make a difference and share the petition today: www.change.org/jamieoliver
Thank you,
Jamie O x
