Petition Update

Hello everyone, Thank you for your continued support. It has long been my intention to present a detailed document regarding political bias in the media and more importantly in the BBC. I believe that this is a debate that needs to happen and is essential to the health of democracy. A democracy thrives when the citizens are well informed. Unfortunately, we are far from well informed. During the EU referendum we clearly saw the media participate in presenting distorted information, fed to them by the various 'concerned' parties. They were more interested in fuelling the divisions than stimulating the debate - which is relatively uncontrollable and almost excusable in the free Press but not for the BBC. If any good can come from this it is that more people, want more information, more of the time. However, the BBC has failed to rise to the challenge and still insists on maintaining its course in failing to be impartial. I do have a number of studies that illustrate this and I will share them with you later. In the mean time I would like to ask you to get behind a new petition. It is specific to the way the BBC is reporting regarding Jeremy Corbyn. What ever your views on Mr Corbyn's leadership ability or right to be the leader, I am sure you will agree that the BBC appears to be unable of presenting a balanced, impartial view.
